"Open up my eyes to see the ones who need a helping hand

....Open up my eyes to see your wholeness in a broken land."

-- "Open Me," song by Lake Edge's own Marques Bovre

Lake Edge Hands-On Volunteering
Where does the money come from?
A portion of members' regular pledges goes to the mission budget -- Lake Edge has historically contributed 20-30% of its total revenue to mission and service beyond the walls of Lake Edge. The biannual Parking Lot Sale, other fundraisers and special offerings raise more funds for missions. The Board of Christian Outreach decides how to allocate most mission funds. In addition, many other Lake Edge groups have their own projects to raise money or volunteer. The Cookie Walk is one example of a special fundraising project. The biannual Parking Lot Sale is Lake Edge's single biggest fundraiser. The 2008 Parking Lot sale raised over $13,000!
