Worship

Worship is at the heart of our life together, renewing and refreshing us as Christ's people. We hope you will experience the power and the warmth of God's presence among us. Everyone is welcome.

Traditional Service (9-10 a.m. Sunday)

Like drama in the theater, worship at Lake Edge has flow to it, a kind of movement that leads from the Call to Worship, through listening and reflecting on God's word and finally a sending out (benediction). Music at the 9 a.m. worship features the organ as well as choir, handbells and children's choir on different Sundays. Hear a music sample

Worship at the Edge (11 a.m.-noon Sunday)

It's a worship service that frames a window to God with a more informal style and lively worship band (gospel-folk-alternative). Through this window we reach our God who uplifts us. Have a cup of coffee before, and go out for lunch after. Listen to music samples: Singer-songwriter Marques Bovre       Praise band and congregation

Vespers (6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Wednesday - New!)

A quiet, contemplative midweek service with music and the celebration of communion.

First Time Worshipping With Us?

You'll be welcomed by folks at our door, and an usher will provide you with a printed program that makes it easy to follow what's going on. Throughout the service, helpful guidance will be offered both in printed and in spoken word, and each member is willing to offer any guidance in worship you may request.
