Opportunities for Young People

We try to guide the children of Lake Edge along a series of "faith stepping stones" for them to walk along as they grow up. Each stepping stone is an opportunity for us to teach and celebrate God's goodness and love.

10:05-10:50 a.m.

Sunday School rooms are in the basement, stop by the Youth Room to sign in your child and for directions to the correct classroom.
  • Sunday School classes for preschool (age 3-4), through 8th grade and 8th grade-high school. Sunday School classes run September through May.   • High school: Confirmation marks the transition to being a full-fledged member of the church. High school students are invited to participate in any of the many opportunities Lake Edge offers for lifelong learners, in our Youth Ministry on Sunday afternoons.
Childcare
8:45 a.m. - noon
Throughout Sunday morning
  • Ages 0-4 years
  • Staffed by a childcare professional
  • Nursery is on the main floor in the back hallway across from the Hearthside Room.
During Worship
  • Children at Lake Edge attend worship with their parents, but there are special activities for them.
Other Programs

  • Two unrelated adults are with children throughout all church activities.
