Confirmation

Confirmation marks the transition to becoming full-fledged adult members of the church. Lake Edge eighth graders spend the year in study and preparation for making their commitment to the church.

  • Confirmation class will meet on Sunday afternoons (2nd and 4th Sundays of the month) from 4-6 p.m.
  • Confirmation is a mentor-based program, with adult church members who have committed to nurturing a confirmand for an entire year.
  • Our mentor-confirmand pairs will spend time reflecting on important issues of faith together, have fun together, work together on projects over the church year.
  • Intensive Bible study
  • Attending worship services most Sundays
  • 3 overnight retreats
