Music...the Sound of Lake Edge

The Lake Edge Band Worship at the Edge (11 a.m.) has its own band, composed of up to ten members on any given Sunday and featuring artist-in-residence Marques Bovre performing his own driving, soulful songs three times a month (Listen to samples of Marques' songs: "Still, Small Voice" "Open Me"). Music styles include rock, gospel, taize, folk, traditional, pop and alternative. (Listen to other music we do: "Be to our God"  "Over my Head"). People you may see up front are Marques Bovre (singer/songwriter/guitar), Kerstin Smith (vocals, keyboard), Karen Torvell (vocals), Amanda Helm (vocals), Jennifer Hahn (vocals), Charlie Bakken (lead guitars, vocals), Kevin Knapp (keyboards, bass guitar), Kenny Stevenson (bass guitar), Ken Hahn (fiddle, vocals), Ethan Noordyk (drums, percussion), and occasionally Nancy Schallert (French horn). Maybe you will join us sometime too! Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
