Parking Lot Sale
What is it? Every other year Lake Edge holds a very, very large sale. This is not your average weekend garage sale. We collect donations from Lake Edge members, friends, neighbors and anyone else who wants to donate. The parking lot will be full; Fellowship Hall will be full; and rooms will be devoted to books and antiques.
When? The big day for the 2010 sale is August 7.
Why? Feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and care for those who are suffering. Our last sale raised $13,000, and all the money goes to the missions Lake Edge supports.
Who? The chief Garage Sale Goddess is Bernie Hartwig, 608-222-7350
How you can help
Save your stuff ....and your friends' stuff, and your family's stuff! You can drop your stuff off at the church beginning May 25! Tell your friends to save stuff too. Donation receipts will be available for tax deduction purposes. Click here to see what kinds of items we want and don't want. Last day to drop off is July 30!
Garage Sale Hopping? .... Tell folks that have garage sales that we'll take their leftover stuff. Pick up postcards at the church office or print out this sheet of cards on your own computer .Volunteer:

Sorting & Pricing during May, June and July
- Aug. 1st, Aug. 2, and Aug. 6 A few men needed to move furniture
- Help on the sale day Aug. 7: It takes hundreds of hands to set up and haul the items out for display. We also need cashiers and cashier's helpers the day of the sale.
