HURRY! Deadline to reserve your campsite is April 15th!
Calling All Campers (and non-campers too)! The 2011 Lake Edge UCC Campout is scheduled for June 17-19 (Fathers Day weekend) at
Indian Trails Campground near Pardeeville, WI (about 50 minutes north of Madison). Contact campout coordinator
Ellie Rogers at 608-242-8363 to find out how to reserve your campsite for this year's outdoor extravaganza. The campout is coordinated with the
Lake Edge Outdoor Sports Ministry, which was created to help people get to know each other and develop genuine friendships through common interests, while connecting with God's creation through the natural world and by developing the strength of our bodies.

We welcome anyone to join our eclectic group: expert & novice campers; young, old(er), & in-between; families & singles; tents & trailers; etc. If you would like to join us but don't own camping equipment, let us know. Other campers may have spares to share.
The Facilities - While we do reserve the most heavily wooded and private campsites, this is not wilderness camping.
Indian Trails is an extremely family-friendly, resort-type campground that includes a 12 acre fishing lake; separate swimming beach; indoor heated pool; restaurant/snack bar/general store on site; 18 hole mini-golf course; boat & kayak rentals; well-kept bathroom and shower facilities; and much more. Each campsite has electricity and water, and for the faint of heart, Indian Trails has a limited number of cabins for rent. Campers enjoy food, fishing, music, evening campfires, and lots of fun activities; some planned by our group, and some that are
pre-planned by the campground. Some just enjoy the solitude of hanging out at the campsite with a good book.
Excursions - Fox Trail Outfitters offers two different kayak/canoe trips down the historic Fox River to Swan Lake; there are smaller hiking trails at the campground, but if you want something more challenging, Devils Lake in Baraboo is not too far away. On Saturday morning, a group of campers visits the shops and bakeries of the Amish community nearby. Worship - On Sunday morning, campers gather together for a special outdoor worship service. Campers are encouraged to help plan or participate in the worship service. Contact
Amanda Helm to find out how you can get involved.
Can't make it for the whole weekend? You can join our group and use the amenities at the campground just for the day (adults $5/day, ages 5-18 $3/day, ages 1-4 free). The Lake Edge campsites are in
"Rileys Woods," campsites 125-136.
