Palm Sunday worship will be at the usual time 9 a.m. (traditional music) and 11 a.m. (contemporary music). This is a special worship including the Passion narrative according to Mark’s gospel. On Palm Sunday Christians traditionally recall Jesus' seemingly triumphant entry into Jersulem for the Passover (symbolized by palm branches carried by children of the congregation), only to face betrayal and death before his ultimate triumph of resurrection. Palm Sunday kicks off Holy Week, the last week of Lent, including some of the most moving worship services of the Christian year and culminating in Easter Sunday.
