-Youth Work Camp-
Mark your calendar for the third week of August, the 14th through the 21.
This summer all youth are invited to pack humbly and be ready to work with all their hearts! We are going to one of our country's most needy regions, The Appalachian Mountains.
There, we will work on local homes, which can very from trailer homes with no plumbing - and cabins needing new floors or roofs. We will contribute to the construction of brand-new Habitat for Humanity homes deep in the hollows of the Appalachian Mountains
Saturday, April 23 3:00pm-5:30pm
All youth are called to help with decorating and hiding eggs and prizes for the children’s Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday Morning. Please come and be apart of making Easter a beautiful and exciting time for some of our smallest church members. Pizza will be provided.
We will meet in the Youth room at 6pm then go over to Village Lanes for a few rounds of Bowling and socializing. Questions? Contact Ursulla 608-513-7036

Sunday, Feb 13th 3pm-6pm
Youth are to meet in the Edge Café at 3pm.
We will walk to Fired Up Pottery.
At 5pm we will return to the Edge Café for snacks & discussion led by Ursulla & Kip.
We will explore how we are shaped & molded like clay by the choices we make, how we see & treat others and how we value ourselves.
A suggested $5 minimum to create something small.
But you may wish to bring more money if you want to do a larger project.
On Sunday, February, 13th, the youth are invited to lunch and entertainment at First Congregational Church here in Madison. We will leave Lake Edge about 11:15 to arrive at First Congo at 11:30. We will have lunch and then join their congregation for a different kind of Newlywed game. The church has been doing this as a fundraiser for many years and it tends to bring many, many laughs. Typically they have a couple that has been married a long time, a newly married couple, and a same gender couple. All are competing to see who knows their partners' hearts, minds and souls best!
All youth gather in the Youth room at 3pm on January 16th. Then we will head over to Tenney Park for an afternoon of Ice skating. About 5 we will return back to the youth room to warm up with soem hot cocoa as we wait for you rides to arrive!

Retreat for High School Students, 8th grade- 12th grade, individually or with their church groups.
Experience faith in community, meaningful worship and great music, silence and time for prayer, getting to know new people and hanging out with friends. Rest from the stress of school, listen to God's word, connect with yourself and others, and find satisfaction in silence and in fun activities.
Be inspired by the beauty of God's Creation on Green Lake, and by workshops and discussions with adult leaders and your peers.
Any Parents interested in driving please also let me know!

In-Church Youth Service Project on Tuesday September 7th, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Basement.
Youth are to gather in the basement to assist in setting up the classrooms and do minor cleaning for the opening of Sunday School. We will be cleaning, staging classrooms and doing some painting. We will also be decorating for a festive welcome back to Sunday school. There will be hotdogs, assorted chips and soda available during the project. What better way to utilize unsold stock from the food stand than to chow down ourselves as we prepare our church for an exciting year!
